Rigorously Patient Reprise
This collection of work is an amalgamation of time, materials and play. The work consists of found objects, sentimental scraps, unresolved parts of past experiments, unsold pieces, and two decades worth of accumulated media. The work combines these elements to create new pieces that reflect how life can feel like an attempt to bind what we have into a semblance of completeness. The objects, presented as mixed media paintings, are a tribute to resourcefulness and the burden of saving caused by scarcity; my inherited birthright as an Appalachian.
